Intravenous infusion of noradrenaline is used :
- In the emergency treatment of shock and for the restoration and maintenance of blood pressure.
In local gastric irrigation, noradrenaline is useful in :
- The treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding, in addition to usual treatments (H2 receptor blockers, proton pump inhibitors; endoscopic sclerotherapy).
