ENOXA is indicated in adults for :

• The prophylactic treatment of venous thromboembolism in moderate and high-risk surgery, especially in orthopedic or general surgery, including oncological surgery.
• The prophylactic treatment of venous thromboembolism in patients with an acute medical condition (such as acute heart failure, respiratory failure, severe infections, or rheumatic diseases) with reduced mobility and increased risk of venous thromboembolism.
• The treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), excluding PE that requires thrombolytic or surgical treatment.
• The prevention of thrombus formation in the extracorporeal circulation during hemodialysis.

Acute coronary syndrome :

• Treatment of unstable angina and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), administered in combination with oral acetylsalicylic acid.
• Treatment of acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), including patients eligible for medical treatment or percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
