Abdominal Ultrasound Masterclass

The Tunisian Society of Gastroenterology (STGE), in collaboration with MédiS laboratories, successfully organized an abdominal ultrasound masterclass. This training, both theoretical and practical, was aimed at gastroenterologists from the private and public sectors. It took place over four separate sessions at the STGE Media Library:

1st session: September 6, 7, and 8, 2024

2nd session: October 25, 26, and 27, 2024

3rd session: November 15, 16, and 17, 2024

4th session: December 13, 14, and 15, 2024

During the final session, on December 15, 2024, a certificate award ceremony for abdominal ultrasound training was held under the presidency of Professor Azouz, a Moroccan speaker. The event featured contributions from three distinguished speakers: two Moroccans and one French expert.

A total of 28 participants attended the training, which included theoretical courses and practical workshops conducted with healthy volunteers. The necessary equipment, such as ultrasound machines and medical beds, was rented by the STGE from the company BASTIDE.

The event was also promoted on the official STGE Facebook page, where images and videos of the practical workshops were shared to highlight the launch of the sessions for this abdominal ultrasound masterclass.
